Diane has worked in the field of dementia for over 30 years in various settings including, nursing homes, personal care facilities, medical offices, and private homes. She earned her Master in Health Administration with a specialization in Gerontology, her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and is a Certified Dementia Practitioner and Certified Alzheimer’s Educator. Diane volunteers for the Alzheimer’s Association as a support group facilitator and community educator. She recently left her position as the Memory Care Director at Highland Park Senior Living in Wilkes Barre Township to pursue her dream and launch Second Family Memory Care Center.
The Second Family MCC staff, known as CARERS, are all highly trained and experienced in dementia care. Second Family MCC CARERS are held to the highest standards when engaging with our Members, with no less ever being acceptable. Their interactions are founded on using love and passion to promote individuality, dignity, respect, and purpose. Our CARERS are committed to providing your loved ones with the optimum care they deserve, and they pride themselves on becoming their Second Family. All of our CARERS are trained in dementia care and certified in CPR and First Aid.
